Requalification of Savena's canal

Water and bank requalification of the two uncovered sections of the Savena Canal through operations of 'permeabilization' of the running bed and reconstruction of the bank embankments in exposed brick, as per the Bolognese tradition and in reinforced vegetalized earth.

For the section that flows inside the Giardini Margherita Public Park, the project involved the construction of new floodgates and flood pipes, to ensure that the oxygenation of the existing pond in the center of the arch returned to oxygenate the water in a manner "natural" through the creation of a current generated by the circulation of water between the head and the exit of the canal.
