Mill del Voglio

The restoration project of the Water Mill powered by Rio Voglio involves the creation of a cultural and agricultural center for deaf people composed by a LIS school for children with a library, video recording rooms, a shop that produces and sells beer, obtained from the local hop fields, and flour produced with the restored water millstones.
The Mill was built by the Benedictine Order around the 1000 d.C.; it was part of the Abbey complex. Nowaday the remains of Abbey are included in the village of Pian del Voglio, located in front of the Rio Voglio Mill.
